The
information below is for those
who would like to volunteer
some of their free time to
help out in the Lobo Park.
We define volunteers as those
who can be at the park on
a regular basis, over a long
period of time, such as months
or even years.
If you have
a sincere interest in animals
and conservation, enjoy working
with people, and are enthusiastic
and dependable, volunteering
at the Lobo Park may be just
what you're looking for. As
a volunteer, you will receive
on-the-job training from staff
and other volunteers in the
area you choose.
Our volunteers
play a vital role in the Park
community, whether working
directly with animals or working
on office administrative projects
and Special Events. Volunteers
must be 18 years old and available
to work at least one full
day per week for a minimum
of six months. Many programs
have both weekend and weekday
openings.
Volunteers
must be able to provide their
own transportation and accommodations
